Lord of the Dance

We were invited by our friends Barbra and Ron Mortanian on April 10,2013 to go to the Lord of the Dance show here in Fresno at the Saroyan Theatre. Ron works with the Broadway in Fresno group. He always gives us tickets to plays and shows because Joe makes him signs and banners for the show he is doing. It was really good all of the cloggers and dancers were amazing. It was a really fun night!

Sierra Villa assisted living home

I have recently started volunteering at this place.  I use to volunteer at a rehab in college.
So in my spare time  (when I wasn't in school)  I would have something to do. It was just up the street not too far so I could walk there. Well I moved to Clovis, CA soon after Joe and I got married. It has taken about 9 months for me to get cleared by the home so  that  now I can volunteer. It is just a small walk away from where Joe and I live.  When I volunteer I don't do anything really except play games and  talk to people. Pretty much I just go in to make people smile. I feel really good when I go volunteer because the people see what I am going through with my TBI and  they see I am still positive and active. I am scheduled to go volunteer twice a week.

Happy Anniversary Babe!

1-21-12 is our anniversary. I wasn't able to upload the pictures that we took on that day  on that day. The 21st was Martin Luther King Junior day so Joe was off of work. We slept in till 11 o' clock. Then we got ready for the day and went to Dog house Grill for lunch ( the BEST BBQ tri tip sandwhich you will ever have in your LIFE! ) Then after that Joe had an idea (that he got from his elementary school) to write a memoir of the year and attach it to some helium balloons and let it sail away. We did let it sail away right out of our apartment complex which has lots of trees so the balloons were stuck in a tree. The next day Joe noticed that they had blown away we were so happy because we also attached on the memoir our email addresses so that whoever finds it can contact us. For dinner that night we went to Tepanyaki. It was great fun We enjoyed our first anniversary. We are looking forward to MANY more years together. For our anniversary I made Joe a Mixbook on mixbook.com. It was kind of pricey tho so I told Joe not to get me anything and that the mixbook would be our combined present.
